Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery

The Department provides a range of adult and pediatric services for diseases of the ear, nose and throat, including cochlear implants for hearing loss. In the Department's Chevalier Jackson-Norris clinic, reconstructive surgery is performed for patients with head and neck cancer, and surgical services are provided for disorders involving the esophagus, larynx and bronchial tubes. Surgical expertise includes cosmetic an facial-reconstructive procedures. The Department maintains a section of allergy completely devoted to skin and allergy testing. Physicians also have special expertise in skull base surgery, which is performed in collaboration with neurosurgeons.
