Pain Management

Comprehensive Pain Management

Temple Health Pain Management offers a range of services for patients with acute or chronic pain. Through the care of our pain specialists, we provide advanced treatment options in a supportive, compassionate environment. The program includes treatments that address the physical, mental and behavioral issues that can result from ongoing pain, with the goal of addressing your condition individually, managing your pain with multiple types of treatment and enabling a timely return to optimal activity.

A Streamlined Approach to Care

Finding the underlying cause of your pain and then coordinating care can often be a challenge. It can lead to numerous tests, referrals to multiple specialists and delays in receiving effective treatment.

Every new patient is seen and evaluated first by an anesthesiologist or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist, using standardized procedures. Following assessment, you’ll be quickly directed to the most appropriate subspecialist for treatment. If no subspecialist is required, you’ll be returned to your primary care physician with treatment recommendations. We want to ensure that you receive the most appropriate care in the most appropriate setting.
